Cough... Cough...

I have been feeling a bit under-the-weather, and the only thing that makes me feel better is a little Portuguese comfort food called Calde Verde.

Calde Verde literally translates to "Green Soup," and it is, in fact, green in color.

Please do not let that stop you from making it and eating it and experiencing its magical healing properties.

Also, it is delicious.

There are a number of different recipes, but my favorite is here.

  1. This is John's favorite soup: http://thepioneerwoman.com/tasty-kitchen/recipes/soups/spicy-tuscan-soup/

It's a lot of the same ingredients and YUMMY!

I made it for him Tuesday night and have a ridiculous amount of Kale left over, maybe I will try Calde Verde!

  2. That does sound yummy!

It sounds like Dan would love it, too-- especially because it contains sausage AND bacon.

  3. Haha, I usually leave the bacon out (cause who wants to buy a whole pack just to use one slice?) but it's good either way!
