Sir Hollington Eggplant, the Third



So, I found this eggplant in my garden, and he sort of looked like he had a nose.

Of course, I did what any logical person would do, and I gave him eyes and a mouth to go with it.


I have also been pretending he's British and making him say things like, "Pip, pip, cheerio."

I am really lucky that Mr. Kinne puts up with me.

    Omiword, I am so LOL! Hilarious! Please tell me you shared that with your students - because my first graders would find a class vegetable in lieu of a class pet completely amazing!!!!

    I actually didn't bring him to school, because I plan to turn him into a sidedish soon. That would be a tough one to explain to the kiddos...

    And, yes, I thought he was quite handsome for an eggplant. :)
