In Which I Tell You About a Dream I Had

So, I have been feeling a bit overwhelmed by the end of the school year. This is my very first year of teaching, and sometimes I just pretend I know what I am doing.

Then, last night, I had this dream that I was at school. My classroom was completely messy and chaotic, and my desk was covered in maple syrup.

According to a totally legit source (i.e. some random Dream Dictionary site), the maple syrup could mean this:

To see maple syrup in your dream symbolizes sentimentality and nostalgia. Or, this dream can also mean that you have found yourself in a sticky situation.

According to Mr. Kinne, I might just be craving pancakes.

Get in Touch with your Inner 10-Year-Old

Now that Lauren has admitted her love for Selena Gomez in the comments, I can no longer keep this to myself.

I think that Wizards of Waverly Place is one of the best shows on television.

You might be saying, "But, Mrs. Kinne, isn't that a kids' show?"

To which I say, "Yes. It is also awesome."

This show consistently cracks me up and has actually made me tear up on occasion. Plus, the cast is pretty flipping adorable:

Snips and Snails and Puppy Dog Tails

My sister-in-law texted me the words "It's a boy!" today, which means that I will have a brand new nephew in November.

I could not be more excited...

Or more tempted to purchase tiny blue things.

Make-Up Monday: Stila Eyeshadow Palette

I am trying to be good and stay within my budget, so I've been avoiding Sephora like the plague.

However, I did take a look at the Sephora site, and I saw this eyeshadow palette for only 10 dollars.

10 dollars!

As I like to tell Mr. Kinne, that's practically free.

(Then, Mr. Kinne sweetly reminds me that it's not free if you have to spend money).

Reason #4641 That I Love First Grade

For those of you who might not be fluent in First-grader, this note translates to:

Dear Mrs. Kinne,

Do you know how many I love you?

I love you like 100.

Love,

Fatima

Ramona and Beezus

This movie does not come out until July 23rd, but I am already beyond excited. I loved the Ramona books growing up, and the movie has so many good people in it.

Would it be dorky to admit that the trailer gives me goosebumps?

Netflix Makes My Life Better

Everyday, I declare my love for our ability to watch Netflix programming through the Wii.

It feels like we live in the future.
